Implementation for leading, international perfumery

Our client is a leading international chain of perfumeries, specializing in the sale of perfumes, cosmetics and make-up products. It is part of an international retail group, comprising several brands operating in Europe – both in physical stores and through an extensive digital presence in apps and online stores.

Project scope

Our client faced the challenge of effective organization of working time in its warehouses and distribution centers. Managing the team and monitoring the time spent on individual tasks required a tool that would allow them to automate processes and improve control over operational efficiency.

CHALLENGE

At the beginning of 2021, the client decided to implement the Time Harmony system in its warehouses and distribution centers. Thanks to this tool, the company gained full control over the working time of its employees, which allowed for more effective planning, optimal distribution of responsibilities and better operational coordination on a national and international scale.

In addition, the module made it possible to measure the profitability of VAS (Value Added Services) orders, i.e. additional services such as packaging, labeling or packaging of products. The analysis of the data provided by the system made it possible to assess which of these activities generate the greatest value for the client, and which require modification to increase profitability.

RESULTS

1. Improvement of working time organization – The system enabled a detailed analysis of the time spent on various activities, which improved the processes of planning and delegating tasks in warehouses and distribution centers.

2. Increased operational efficiency – The implementation of Time Harmony allowed for precise monitoring of working time in warehouses in Poland and in foreign branches, m.in. in Romania, the Czech Republic and Hungary. This improved communication between teams and increased control over logistics operations.

3. Reporting Automation – The ability to generate reports in a variety of formats has streamlined the data analysis process, saving time and reducing administrative costs.

The implementation of Time Harmony in the client's warehouses and distribution centers brought measurable benefits, significantly improving working time management processes. Increased efficiency, better operational coordination, and time and cost savings are just some of the positive effects of implementation. Time Harmony has become a key tool supporting the development and logistics efficiency in the client's warehouses.

Recognizing the value of the data provided by the Time Harmony system and the benefits of its use, the client decided to expand the implementation to other markets. The effectiveness of the tool in optimizing working time, automating processes and increasing operational efficiency made the company decide to implement the system also in distribution centers outside Poland – in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania. An additional advantage of implementing Time Harmony in different locations is the ability to standardize reporting of working time and operational efficiency, which allows for consistent data analysis and strategic decision-making across the organization.

We started working with the client in 2021 and have been successfully continuing it to this day. The benefits of implementing the Time Harmony system turned out to be so significant that the client is gradually expanding its application, implementing the solution in its warehouses also outside Poland.

Time Harmony is a universal tool that can be implemented in any country, thanks to multi-language support, flexible adaptation to local holiday calendars and the ability to define absences for a selected country.
